How to DIY: Creating with Dried Flowers

The wonderful thing about dried flowers is that they retain their color and shape for years to come. That’s why they are often called “everlasting flowers.” We grow lots of amazing everlasting varieties at Many Graces and want to share the bounty with you, while teaching you how to craft a beautiful floral creation with them!

Join us for our DIY Workshop, Creating with Dried Flowers, to learn the basics of dried flower arranging and design. Participants will have a choice between making one medium-sized modern style dried flower wreath, or two smaller flower wreaths, that could also double as flower crowns (one for yourself and one for gifting!).

All of the flowers and foliage will be sourced directly from the Many Graces fields. We will work with flowers that we have already dried such as larkspur, ornamental grasses, and seed pods. We will also work wth flowers that grow already in “dry form” such as strawflower, gomphrena, and statice, and will also include fresh cuts such as herbs (sage, rosemary, mugwort, cedar) and flowers (lisianthus and scabiosa), that will dry as your arrangement ages.

Your $60 admission will provide you with all of the tools and flowers you need to create whichever size wreath you choose, and will also include a glass of wine and snacks for you to enjoy while you are crafting!

Rebecca, Many Graces’ owner, will give a half hour tutorial to start the workshop off, and will field questions throughout the hour and a half while participants are creating.

*If you would like to reserve your spot in the workshop but don’t want to drink alcohol, please get in touch with us at for alternative registration options!

**Note that the inspirational wreath photos are by Terri Chandler, Katie Smyth, and Bex Partridge—three amazing floral designers we love from the UK!
